Blitz (Rayne Deare Dating Agency Book 8) Page 4
“I’m not so sure,” Sarah admitted. “He’s a wonderful man and I truly do love him, but I’ve always felt like he’s most comfortable with our life the way it is now. I’m not so sure he’d welcome the idea of a baby.”
“Well like it or not, I don’t think you can exactly turn back the clock on this one.”
“I know,” Sarah said with a heavy sigh. “I’ll tell him tonight.”
“Good, now come have a cookie, you have to feed the baby after all.”
Sarah chuckled as she followed Mrs. Claus into the bakery.
***
Blitzen was painting the living room when Sarah walked in. He was stripped down to a pair of paint-stained jeans, his body sweaty from the effort. She’d never seen him look sexier and her belly quivered in response.
“Hey,” he said, noticing her.
“Hey,” she said, wringing her hands after she sat her keys down.
“You okay?”
“Yeah I…the new color looks great.”
“I figured it’s time for more light in here. Lever 2000 green is a hell of a lot lighter than that shit I had in here earlier.”
“I can’t argue with that.”
“Good,” Blitzen said with a wink. He put his brush down and walked over to her, pressing a kiss to her cheek. “You okay? You look a little piqued.”
“I’m just hot and tired.”
“That’s not like you. You’re usually full of energy.”
“I…I have something to tell you,” Sarah said, as she started to tremble.
“Hey now, it can’t be all that bad,” Blitzen said, taking her hands in his.
“I just, I don’t know if you’re going to like what I have to tell you.”
“Well I won’t know until I hear what it is you have to say.”
To Blitzen’s mind, Sarah looked as if she was about to faint. Worried, he moved a chair for her. “Why don’t you sit down?”
“Thanks,” Sarah said as she sat, and then took the drink he offered her.
“Sarah,” Blitzen said, sitting across from her. “What’s the matter?”
Blitzen watched her composure crumble as tears ran down her cheeks. “I’m pregnant,” she sobbed, covering her mortified face with her hands.
“We’re having a baby?” Blitzen asked, his voice holding a note of awe.
She simply shook her head. Blitzen gathered her close and laughed, joy bubbling up from inside. “Oh love,” he chuckled. “Did you think I’d be mad if you told me, or somehow not want our child?”
“I thought you’d be angry, maybe even throw me out.”
“I’m not letting you go anywhere,” Blitzen said. “Now granted, I won’t bundle you off to bed as my father would have my mother in your condition. But neither will I ever let you go. You’ve been mine since the moment I got your text.”
“You know, I still have no idea how or why that happened,” Sarah laughed, wiping the tears from her face. “But I’ve never been happier about an odd situation like that than I am right now.”
“Good,” Blitzen smiled. “Because I’d very, very much like to know if I can keep you.”
“What?” Sarah said, turning to look at the living room again.
“Will you marry me, Sarah Scarlett Stevens?”
“Blitzen- “
“I was already planning on asking you, so you don’t have to worry about it being for the baby.”
“You were?” Sarah said, her bottom lip trembling.
“What do you think that big speech about not letting you go was about?” Blitzen smiled. He pressed his forehead to Sarah’s and sighed. “We’re a hell of a pair. I can’t seem to relax enough to entertain anything other than reality and you are so afraid of reality that you do everything you can to escape to a fairytale.”
“Maybe together we can make a story with just enough of both,” Sarah offered, putting her hands in his. “And my answer…is yes.”
“What?” Blitzen said, turning his attention back to her. “I’m sorry. I…I was thinking about the baby.”
Sarah smiled and blushed. “I said I’ll marry you, you big, hairy mammal.”
“Awe,” Blitzen winked. “Are you talking to me or my reindeer self?”
“Both of you,” Sarah said with a kiss. Blitzen found the ring he’d purchased and pulled out all the stops with a beautifully homemade candlelit dinner. They spent that weekend finishing the living room and talking about all they’d have to get done before the baby came.
“I’m only twelve weeks,” Sarah laughed. “We’ve got some time.”
“Sure,” Blitzen laughed. “Until we turn around and you’re in labor. Don’t you want to be able to relax before the baby comes? The sooner we get things done, the better.”
“There’s only one thing I want to do right now,” Sarah said, standing up.
“What?”
“You.” Sarah said, coming around the table to sit on Blitzen’s lap. She kissed him, hard. She sank her hands into his hair, tugging just enough to make him groan. “Make love with me, Blitz.”
“You had me at do,” he grinned.
***
Heat shimmered along her skin as Blitzen’s hands caressed her in long, slow strokes. Tenderness and patience were in plentiful supply as they took their time loving each other. “You are one severely hot mama.”
“Really?” Sarah purred, undoing her dress and letting it fall to the floor. Her abdomen was still flat, keeping secret the small life hidden within.
“Steaming hot,” Blitzen growled. She’d chosen her pink bra and panty set, the one with the black lace trim, the one she knew Blitzen couldn’t resist. Once again, she was right. This time when he kissed her though, there was a softness under the need, as his mouth slowly plundered hers. She gave herself up to it, relishing this feeling that always made her heart stutter a little in her chest.
She’d never known a love so strong and yet she somehow knew that her love would only grow when their child finally came along. Sarah followed Blitzen, hand in hand, to their bed, enjoying the way he pressed her back into the soft mattress.
“Let me love you,” he breathed, his mouth already trailing over her skin. His rough hands undid her bra, pulling it away from her skin and making her smile as her breasts tightened, her pretty pink nipples basking in his attentions. When his tongue slid over them, drawing them tighter into his mouth, Sarah moaned; her body steeped in pleasure. His hands, always busy, were already stroking her. She came first within minutes of him touching her.
“I’ve heard that pregnancy can really enhance things,” Sarah said as she helped Blitzen out of his clothes, “But holy cow.”
“Yeah?”
“God, yes.”
“Good,” he smiled, pulling her almost naked body close to his.
***
With shining eyes the color of spring, Sarah smiled at him. She let her body do the talking as she brought her laughing mouth to his. She went under the first time as he drew the kiss out with expert patience. His masterful hands quickly undid the braid of hers to let loose the curls that wanted so desperately to escape. She watched with some satisfaction as arousal darkened those chocolate eyes of his until they were the color of a good fondue.
The second time she kissed him, she went under longer. Sinking her hands into the thick, black locks of his hair she gave a soft tug that had his mouth smiling with hers. Then that mouth was trailing heat along her jawline, his tongue streaking out to taste her earlobe. The shiver that went through her only fueled the nearly unbearable need and suddenly the slow descent into madness wasn't enough.
“Hurry!” Sarah’s breathless plea hadn't fallen on deaf ears. With his own need nearly eating him alive Blitzen pulled his t-shirt off and felt the coolness of her hands when they reached for his flesh. She was so full of energy Blitzen thought as her mouth seared his skin. When she dropped to her knees in front of him, quickly pulling his jeans and boxers off, he could only think he'd landed in Heaven.
“
Sarah you don’t have to- “
When Sarah’s warm, wet mouth came around him, he didn't think at all. She worked him back and forth, showing him just how much she wanted to pleasure him. The more she took him into her mouth, the more desperate he became.
“Sarah!” Blitzen breathed, his control quickly becoming a slippery slope to maneuver. He helped her stand up and walked her back to the huge two-person shower, letting her adjust her own shower head. When she stepped underneath the steaming spray, Blitzen gladly joined her. He worked soap through the long length of her hair, glorying in the way she touched her own body. She kneaded her own breasts and when she dipped a hand between her legs Blitzen nearly embarrassed both of them.
He pressed a tender kiss to her shoulder and brought the frothy soap from her hair around in his hands to tease her erect nipples. Her head came back against his shoulder and bared the long line of her slick neck to him. He kissed her there as well, sucking her skin unless a purplish colored welt appeared. Then his own hand slid between her legs, seeking the wet heat that lay there.
Sarah's body was on overdrive, before Blitzen ever touched her, now she felt as if a rocket had exploded inside her. Before the afterglow of her climax could ever show its glorious light, however, Blitzen filled Sarah with one long thrust. She moaned as her body slid around the breadth of his wonderfully thick cock. His own moan of pleasure mixing with hers. He masterfully slid in and out of her, using the wall to brace her body. His avid mouth suckling her breasts like a nursing babe. It was when he used his teeth though that Sarah was sent into thoughtless response. She bucked her hips feeling the plunge of Blitzen's erection deeper than in the beginning. Those constant thrusts pushed her up and over in a rush to climax that had her screaming. “Blitzen!” Jumping after her, he spent himself deep inside Sarah's warm pussy.
“God, Sarah.” Blitzen breathed, burying his face in her neck. He breathed in the scent of the shampoo he'd put in her hair and finally felt his body relax. They finished their shower with relative ease and spent the afternoon talking about just how wonderful becoming parents was going to be.
